Fine Dining in Miami
Prime
One Twelve Restaurant
www.prime112.com
PrimeOne Twelve is a beautiful modern steakhouse
on Ocean Drive featuring: open kitchen, Flat screens, brick walls
and slabs of apple-wood smoked bacon. Not surprising to find Miami's
hippest and hottest. The place for a USDA Prime Steak, but let
me reccommend the miso-glased sea bass. Say hi to Calvin Klien,
Matt Daiman or Sting while your there. Miami Beach needed a place
like this: in a word, excellent! It’s hip, sexy, cool and
a super popular restaurant.
Cacao
Restaurant
www.cacaorestaurant.com
"Cacao" here is Spanish for "exotic
Latin American dishes". Chic yet simple with a latin fare,
you can find spicy shrimp, blackened salmon, filet mignon or Peruvian
duck. These mango-chefs serve up some of the best the best Coral
Gables has to offer. Located on Giralda's trendy restaurant row,
They offer Venezuelan wines and chocolates that will top off a
great night of fine dining.
Joe's
Stone Crab Restaurant
www.joesstonecrab.com
For 93 years, no visit to Miami has been complete
without stopping in at Joe's Stone Crab. Joe's features an extensive
selection of seafood, fresh daily, to complement the world's finest
Florida Stone Crab claws. Dinner only gets better when capped
with a slice of key lime pie. At Joe's, they leave no juicy stone
unturned, but show up early or with cash, because you could be
waiting for those famous claws for up to 2 hours. Don't be crabby,
it's worth the wait!
Azul
Restaurant
www.mandarinoriental.com
The Mandarin Oriental Miami hotel in Brickell Key, and as such
its restaurant Azul offers great vistas of the Bay and the Miami
skyline. The food has Mediterranean flavors with a touch of Asian
flavor. Five star service and wine too, which makes Azul one of
Miami’s best fine dining experiences.
Nemo
Restaurant
www.nemorestaurant.com
Nemo is one of our favorites here in Miami South Beach. A wonderful,
Mediterranean menu, with a lot of variety, seafood extrodinare.
Swordfish, sea bass and tuna is second to none. Nemos is a great
seafood restaurant, expensive, but worth it! Be sure to order
dessert, as Hedy Goldsmith is Miami’s best pastry chef,
anything chocolate and chase it with the suggested dessert wine.
